Since 1999, St. Edward's has made more than $200 million in campus improvements. New laboratories and classrooms, worship space, residence halls and recreation facilities are helping Hilltoppers in their pursuits of learning and service to others. Donors have played a significant role in the successful completion of recent capital improvements, listed below.

John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences Center-South

We added 51,000 square-feet of state-of-the-art learning spaces, rich with resources for all of our students and faculty. Those with particular interest in math, computer science, physics and general science benefit from specialized resources and laboratory spaces. The building also includes a multi-use auditorium for lectures, distance-learning, as well as for use by visiting organizations.  Munday Library

A $13-million gift from Bill and Pat Munday allowed us to nearly double student learning and collaboration space, while adding new digital audio and video technology as well as resources that emphasize interdisciplinary learning and group study. Chapel and Campus Ministry Construction and Renovation Projects

We refurbished the current Chapel, built the Brother Stephen Walsh, CSC, '62 Campus Ministry Building to house the Campus Ministry offices, and created an all-faiths Meditation Garden. These projects better serve our expanding university faith community, while also generating excitement about opportunities for spiritual growth and faith development. UFCU Alumni Gym Renovation and Expansion

A $1.7-million gift from University Federal Credit Union renamed the Alumni Gym and renovated the facility. We upgraded existing space for Campus Recreation, introduced new student meeting and club space, and rebuilt office space for our Information Technology division. The renovated building, named UFCU Alumni Gym, is part of a broader student-oriented district of campus.
